Members begin with exciting Chess activities and, as Ulamaify’s programs grow, gain opportunities to participate in coding, Minecraft Education, artificial intelligence, design, and other creative technology experiences.

More Than a Class
Classes help children build skills. The Creator League gives them opportunities to use those skills.
Throughout the year, members can participate in age-appropriate challenges, friendly competitions, collaborative activities, and special events designed to build:
- Confidence through visible progress
- Creative and strategic thinking
- Problem-solving skills
- Healthy competition and sportsmanship
- Teamwork and communication
- Curiosity about new subjects
- A stronger sense of belonging
Every activity gives students something meaningful to work toward—and another reason to feel proud of what they can accomplish.
Creator League Chess Experiences
Monthly Chess Challenge
Every month, members receive a short set ** selected chess puzzles** appropriate for their learning level.
The goal is not simply to find the correct move. Students are encouraged to pause, examine the board, consider different possibilities, and explain their thinking.
Students who complete the challenge can earn a special digital badge or achievement certificate recognizing their progress.
Children practice:
- Tactical thinking
- Pattern recognition
- Concentration
- Decision-making
- Confidence solving problems independently
Ulamaify Saturday Chess Arena
Once each month, Creator League members are invited to join the Ulamaify Saturday Chess Arena—a friendly online tournament where students can practice, compete, and enjoy chess with the Ulamaify community.
Players are matched as fairly as possible according to age and experience. The focus is on participation, improvement, good sportsmanship, and learning from every game.
Students may receive recognition for achievements such as:
- Tournament Champion
- Best Sportsmanship
- Most Thoughtful Game
- Strongest Improvement
- Creative Move Award
- Never-Give-Up Award
Every tournament is another opportunity for children to become more comfortable thinking under pressure and applying what they have learned.
Bring-a-Friend Week
Learning is even more enjoyable when children can share it with someone they know.
During selected Bring-a-Friend Weeks, each active Creator League member may invite one friend to join an eligible Ulamaify activity at no additional charge.
The invited friend can:
- Experience an Ulamaify learning activity
- Meet the instructor and other students
- Participate alongside their friend
- Discover whether Chess or another Ulamaify program interests them
Advance registration is required, and participation is subject to class availability and the activity’s age requirements.
More Challenges Are Coming
The Creator League will grow alongside Ulamaify.
Chess is the first featured program, but future Creator League experiences may introduce children to coding, Minecraft Education, artificial intelligence, graphic design, and other creative subjects.
New activities will be announced as the related Ulamaify programs become available.
Scratch Coding Challenges
Students may receive short creative missions such as:
- Animate a character telling a story
- Design a simple maze game
- Build a quiz for friends or family
- Create a project using a monthly theme
- Add an original feature to an existing project
Selected projects may be featured in an Ulamaify student showcase.

Possible challenges include:
- Build a sustainable community
- Design a safe animal habitat
- Create a city of the future
- Rebuild a historical place
- Solve a team construction mission
- Use coding to automate something inside a Minecraft world
Challenges will emphasize planning, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving—not simply playing the game.
AI Creator Challenges
As Ulamaify’s AI programs become available, members may explore simple, responsible, and age-appropriate AI activities.
Possible experiences include:
- Design a helpful AI assistant
- Explore how computers recognize patterns
- Create a story or character with guided AI tools
- Examine whether an AI answer is accurate
- Develop an idea that uses technology to help people
- Learn how to use AI safely and responsibly
The focus will remain on children’s own thinking, creativity, and judgment.

- Fix a small program
- Complete a missing part of a game
- Build a useful calculator
- Create a text-based adventure
- Analyze simple data
- Use an API in a guided project
- Complete a team coding mission
These activities help students move from following instructions to confidently building their own ideas.
